
Jake Schoenberg paced Mt. Ararat (1-2) with two goals, with Kyle Lussier, Ben Bishop and Kellan Radulski chipping in one goal each. Bishop also dished out an assist.
Lewiston led 2-0 after a quarter. Mt. Ararat cut the deficit in half by halftime, and trailed 4-3 after three quarters.
Eli Fox had four goals and two assists as the Falcons subdued the Warriors in a back-and-forth Western Maine Conference contest on Thursday.
The teams were tied, 8-8, heading to the fourth before Freeport pulled away for the win.
Freeport, 2-1 and slated to host Kennebunk on Tuesday at 4 p.m., also received three goals and a helper from Ramsey Dodge, along with two goals and an assist from Sam Wogan. Perrin Davidson picked up two goals, with Brady LaFrance chipping in a goal.
In net, Zac Wogan turned aside 17 shots.
