RICHMOND — Freshman Sydney Tilton pitched and hit the Richmond High School softball team to a 19-0 East-West Conference win over Valley on Tuesday.
Tilton struck out five, walked one and permitted just three hits. At the plate, she tripled, hit a grand-slam home run and drove in six runs.
Also for the Bobcats, who are 4-0 and slated to host Rangeley on Thursday at 4 p.m., Kalah Patterson and Emily Douin each singled three times, while Kelsie Obi added two singles.

The host Vikings answered each Mt. Ararat rally with one of their own for a KVAC win at South Paris.
Anna Wilson lifted a three-run home run in the second inning and finished with four RBIs for Oxford Hills (6-1), while Annika Kahkanan and Savannah Morin each had two hits.
Alana Weaver paced the Eagles (2-4) with three singles. Sara Lamb singled twice, drove in a run and scored once, Piper Ingle scored a pair of runs and picked up an RBI, Kately Cox singled and scored twice, and Kayleigh Temple drove in a run with a single.
On the mound, Rhiannon Hersey took the loss with three strikeouts and four walks. Oxford Hills hurler Erika Whitman struck out three and walked three.
Mt. Ararat returns to action on Friday at home against Lewiston (4 p.m.).

Cony scored 11 runs in the first inning en route to a KVAC Mercy Rule win at Augusta.
The Rams took advantage of five walks in the opening inning and received a fenceclearing home run from lefty Sydney Cheever.
Hannah Escoe pitched in relief, limiting Cony to two unearned runs over the next three innings before Arika Brochu struck with a threerun home run to give the Rams their final margin of victory.
On offense, Brunswick made solid contact throughout the game, but Cony’s defense was up to the challenge. Ketty Stinson had a double off the right-field fence for Brunswick, while Emily Girardin and Nicole Pelletier added singles. Pelletier had three stolen bases for Brunswick, and Brooke Barter was a defensive standout in center field.
Brochu, who scored four runs, had a double to go along with her home run to lead Cony’s offense.
Brunswick is slated to host Hampden Academy on Friday at 4 p.m.

The Eagles scored seven runs in the third inning for a KVAC Class B win at South China over Morse, which dropped to 3-3 and hosts Oceanside on Friday at 4 p.m.
“The seven-run inning came when two were out,” said Morse coach Will Laffely.
Avery Bond double and singled twice to lead Erskine, while Amber Grady doubled and singled. Mackenzie Gayer chipped in two singles.
Sara Graves had two hits for Morse, including a triple, while Leia Graves, Meghan Stover, Mikayla Rose, Olivia Potter, Marissa Parks and Sierra Wallace each singled.
On the mound, Parks struck out four and walked four. Molly Sawyer picked up the win on eight strikeouts, five walks and eight hits.
