RICHMOND — The Richmond High School softball team concluded its home regular season schedule with an East-West Conference doubleheader sweep of Forest Hills, 12-0 and 23-0, on Saturday.
In the opener, Sydney Tilton tossed a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts.
At the plate, Tilton singled, doubled and drove in four runs, Kelsie Obi singled, homered and picked up three RBIs, Autumn Acord launched a home run and Kelsea Anair had two singles and a home run.
Caitlin Langston tripled for Forest Hills.
Meranda Martin was just as dominating in the nightcap, allowing one hit, one walk and striking out 11. Martin had a five-hit game (two singles, two doubles, triple, four RBIs).
Anair, Tilton, Cassidy Harriman and Camryn Hurley each singled twice for Richmond, 9-0 and slated to visit Buckfield on Tuesday at 4 p.m. Obi picked up four hits, including another home run, while Leeann Bryant had three hits.
Haley Cuddy singled for Forest Hills (3-6).

Host Traip Academy scored four runs in the first and five more in the fifth for a Western Maine Conference win over Freeport on Friday at Kittery.
Jessica MacNeil and Kiara Perez delivered two-run triples in the fifth to put the Falcons away. MacNeill also singled twice, while Kaitlyn Chambers, Briana Lamoureux, Reilly Eddy and Perez each picked up two hits.
Lauren Briggs doubled twice and singled to lead Freeport, 0-9 and slated to visit Kennebunk today at 4 p.m. Jill Baker singled twice and drove in a run, while Bailey Karnes and Krista Bertrand each doubled.
On the mound, Freeport hurler Bri Bellefleur walked eight and struck out four, while Traip’s Eddy walked four and struck out six.
MT. ARARAT 1

The Mt. Ararat softball team dropped its seventh game of the season in its loss to Cony on Friday in Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference play.
Arika Brochu delivered a one-out, two-run blast in the bottom of the first inning to give the hosts a quick 2-0 lead. Haylee Stevens added to that total, giving the Rams a 3-0 advantage after walking, stealing second and scoring on an error during the next at-bat.
The Eagles scored their lone run of the game in the top of the fourth when Kayleigh Temple walked, swiped second and eventually crossed the plate on a Sara Lamb single.
Rhiannon Hersey pitched all six innings for the Eagles, striking out three and walking two, while only allowing three hits. Brochu fanned 10 batters on the mound for the Rams in her seven innings of work. She walked only one and allowed just three hits.
The Eagles play host to Hampden Academy today at 4 p.m.
SKOWHEGAN 16
BRUNSWICK 0
Skowhegan scored five runs in the fourth inning and answered with seven more in the following frame to down Brunswick in a KVAC game ended by the Mercy Rule on Friday.
Ashley Alward limited the Dragons to one hit and a walk though four innings while striking out 12 batters. Kylie Hawkins relieved Alward to pitch the fifth.
Julia Steeves scored three runs to lead Skowhegan’s offense, while Bonnie Aiken and Tara Bernard had two hits each for the Indians.
Skowhegan (8-2) scored a run in the first as Aiken drove Steeves home with a single to left.
Brunswick pitcher Hannah Escoe scattered four hits while striking out four batters through the first three innings. Gianna Gaudet was a two-way standout for Brunswick, reaching base while collecting the lone Dragon hit. Gaudet also played well defensively, throwing out two Skowhegan runners attempting to steal.
The Dragons looked to tie the game in the first inning when Gaudet reached on a single. Allie Eck substituted as a courtesy runner. Eck stole second and third before Alward struck out the side to end Brunswick’s only threat.
The Dragons (1-9) begin a stretch of five straight games on the road today at Lawrence (4:30 p.m.), with its lone home date the finale on June 1 against Oxford Hills.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 7
Abby Farrin held the Shipbuilders to two hits in KVAC Class B matchup on Friday at Newcastle.
Farrin struck out nine and didn’t walk a Morse (5-5) hitter as Lincoln Academy improved to 10-0.
Miranda Achorn homered and singled for the Eagles, while Christine Hilton singled twice and Alyk York doubled.
Alizhay Gagnon and Marissa Parks each singled, with Parks striking three, walking four and permitting eight hits.
Morse is slated to host Belfast today at 4 p.m.
