Golf tournament to benefit ”˜Chelsea’s Chance’ set for June 6
There will be a golf scramble on Saturday, June 6, at Dutch Elm to benefit “Chelsea’s Chance.” Chelsea Donovan is a Biddeford resident who suffers from Arcardi Syndrome. Chelsea is without a spine. The need for therapy and other medical needs she requires cost in excess of $1,000 per month. Our bottom line with this fundraiser is to see Chelsea progress into some normalcy in her life.
The entry fee to play in the tournament is $75 for non-members and $55 for members of Dutch Elm. The entry fee includes green fees, cart, lunch, and assorted prizes. There will also be a random drawing for four golfers to win $25,000 each. The deadline to register will be May 31st. Registration will begin at 7 a.m., with a shotgun start at 8 a.m.
For more information you may call Richard Putney at 283-0915 or Walter Golojuch at 282-7388. We are also attempting to collect prizes for the raffle. If you would like to donate a prize it would be greatly appreciated.
