Southern Maine Health Care, York County’s leading health care provider, is expanding access to its services in the Kennebunk area. Today, SMHC is opening a Walk-In Care center at 2 Livewell Drive in Kennebunk, located right behind Shoppers Village. Open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., SMHC Walk-In Care provides convenient non-emergency care for the cost of an office visit.

“SMHC is very pleased to be adding Walk-In Care to the suite of award-winning health care services it offers in the Kennebunk area,” said SMHC President and CEO Ed McGeachey. “For those times when your primary care doctor isn’t available, or for folks who are visiting the area or do not have a PCP, Walk-In Care provides a convenient alternative for non-emergency care. Of course when more comprehensive treatment is needed, SMHC’s emergency department in the Dorothy Walker Bush Pavilion at SMHC’s Biddeford Medical Center is always open.”

Anyone seeking non-emergency treatment is welcome at SMHC Walk-In Care. There is no scheduled appointment necessary. X-ray and lab services are available on site and the Walk-In Care staff treats health issues such as:
