Students earn degrees at Lehigh University
BETHLEHEM, Pa. — More than 1,900 Lehigh University students were awarded bachelor’s, master’s or doctoral degrees during the 147th Spring 2015 Commencement ceremonies, including James McDermott of Old Orchard Beach, who received a master’s degree in engineering and Luke Darling of Wells who received a bachelor’s degree in science and engineering.
Gil inducted into Omicron Delta Kappa
BOSTON, Mass. — Samantha Gil of Sanford was inducted into the Emmanuel College circle of national leadership honor society Omicron Delta Kappa in April 2015.
Membership in Omicron Delta Kappa is granted to students who demonstrate leadership in athletics, campus or community service, social and religious activities, campus government, creative and performing arts, journalism and media, and scholarship. Undergraduate students who are juniors and seniors and rank in the upper 35 percent of their class are eligible for membership.
