Local veterans were honored Friday as Massabesic High School Naval Junior ROTC, the MHS Choir and the MHS Band marked the upcoming Memorial Day holiday with a school-wide assembly. Among those attending were Harold Jamison, left, and Gladys and George Roberts. George Roberts is a World War II Army veteran who served in the Pacific theater of operations.
