BATH — Sharon Drake Real Estate recently captured a pair of wins in Bath Cal Ripken major division tournament play.
In a 14-2 win over Smith- Tobey, Brogan Shaw belted a triple, double and a single as Sharon Drake had 11 hits. Aaron Landel added a double and a single, while Brenton Cahill and Gabe Aucoin each singled twice. Nathaniel Jewett and Jacob Mowry chipped in a single each.
Shaw, Aucoin and Cahill combined to allow two hits with 11 strikeouts on the mound.
Josiah Yeaton had both hits for Smith-Tobey and struck out 10 over four innings on the hill.
In the semifinals, Sharon Drake slipped past BMDA, 4-3, to punch its ticket to the championship.
Shaw struck out five in four innings of work, while Aucoin fanned two in the final two frames.
Boden Goulds made a nice running catch in left field in the win, and Aucoin cut down a runner at the plate.
Landel had a double and a single to spark the Sharon Drake offense, with Shaw adding a double, and Jewett and Cahill each singling.
Sam Sinibaldi went four innings with seven strikeouts on the mound for BMDA, with Gavin Phillips and Caleb Tibbetts tossing an inning each and combining on four punchouts.
Angelo Atienza had two hits, including a double, while Tibbetts doubled, and Sinibaldi and Ty Knowlton each singled.
