Re: WWII stone sinking below ground. Two years ago, I finally called this office to see if this stone could be lifted, as due to this, my father never gets honored with a flag.

All pertinent questions were answered, including location of headstone and was told it would be put on the “list to be done” when possible. Last year, I was in Bath and seeing nothing had changed, decided to go to the office to see the “status” of the lifting. When she looked the name up – she saw there were two _ neither had any info I had given over the phone. Obviously the information was never recorded!

I reiterated the facts again and got a small flag to put there.

Well, George Patrick Perry — thank you and your brothers for serving our country. You may be deceased, but never forgotten by your family. We honor you all. God Bless You — love and I will go on putting my own flag there every year now that I know Oak Grove’s “procedures.”
