SOUTH PORTLAND (AP) — Three teenagers have been indicted on attempted murder and other charges in connection with what authorities say was a botched drug transaction at a South Portland recreational complex.
The Portland Press Herald reports that a Cumberland County grand jury indicted the men in connection with the March confrontation that landed two men in the hospital, one with a gunshot wound and one with a stab wound.
Police say 19-year-old Ian Soule and 18-year-old Collin Harle went to the Wainwright Recreational Sports Complex to sell marijuana to three other men.
Soule was shot in the chest and Harle was stabbed in the back.
Those indicted were 19- year-olds Zachary Swain and Noah Sibole-Little as well as 18-year-old Essa Sayed.
