ALFRED — Marcia Boucher, 81, died at Goodall Hospital in Sanford on June 7, 2015.
Marcia was born in Torrington, Connec-ticut on June 8,1933. She was the daughter of William Javery and Mildred (Bell) Javery. She was a graduate of Torrington High School’s class of 1950, and graduated from Saint Margret’s Children’s Hospital in Albany, New York.
Among her many activities, she most enjoyed traveling, cooking, painting, knitting and bridge, but nothing gave her more pleasure in life than her grandchildren.
She is survived by: her son, Steven Boucher and daughter-in-law Heidi Boucher and their three children, Avery and his wife Julianna, Avianna, and Isaac, all of New Portland; a sister, Nancy Kavanaugh of Shrewsbury, Vermont; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her sister, Mary Lou Javery; and her former husband, Edward Boucher.
A graveside service will be held, Saturday, June 13 at 2 p.m. in the East Cemetery in New Portland.
Arrangements are by Giberson Funeral Home, 40 Maple St., Madison, ME 04950.
