SCARBOROUGH (AP) — Maine Audubon is looking for volunteers to help with its Scarborough Marsh Nature Center at the state’s largest salt marsh.
The organization wants volunteers to participate in citizen science projects, including bird monitoring, in July and August. Volunteers are also needed to work in the Nature Store and lead groups on walks through the marsh. Building and grounds maintenance help is also being sought.
The center also needs volunteers for special events such as Snowy Egret Day.
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old. More information is available by calling Linda Woodard at 883-5100.
