SCARBOROUGH — Maggie Rosalee Bragdon, 74, of Scarborough, died June 15 at Maine Medical Center in Portland.

She was born Jan. 12, 1941, in Milbridge, one of 22 children of William and Angelia (Sprague) Moore.

Bragdon enjoyed many games of chance, including bingo, and liked to visit casinos. Most of all, she loved spending time with family and friends, and hosted many cookouts each year for them.

She was predeceased by her husband, Harry R. Bragdon Sr.; her parents; and 19 of her siblings.

Bragdon is survived by her children: Rosalee Bragdon; Mary Wolf and her husband, Ed; Harry Bragdon and his wife, Waynette; Brian Bragdon and his life partner, Vincent; Janice Bragdon and her fiance, Scott; and Charles Bragdon and his wife, Jennifer. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; her siblings, Alvah Moore and Mildred Garnett; her brother-in-law, Jimmy Conley; her sister-in-law, Catherine King; and her pet dog, Snowball.

A funeral was held June 20 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, in Portland, followed by interment at Brooklawn Memorial Park. A celebration of Bragdon’s life was also held June 21 in Scarborough.
