YORK — Carol Marie Pruell, 58, of Naples, passed away on June 19, 2015 after a brief illness.
Carol spent all her adult years living in Florida but her deepest love was for York Beach. As a child, she spent every summer in Maine enjoying the beach and her friends. As an adult, she returned to Maine every fall, to her parents home to visit with family and friends. She graduated from Walpole High School and attended the University of Maine. Carol was employed at the Royal Palm Country Club as the manager of the clubhouse.
Carol will be dearly missed by her family: Joseph (Wendy), of Walpole, Massachusetts; Barbara Glavin (William), of Norwood, Massachusetts; Thomas (Nancy), of Walpole, Massachusetts; Mary Beth Jenkins (Earle), of Bedford, New Hampshire; and 13 nieces and nephews. Carol’s infectious smile and wonderful sense of humor will also be missed by her many friends.
Carol was preceded in death by: the love of her life, C. Michael Toner; and her parents, Joseph and Madeline.
Services will be held in York at a later date.
