RICHMOND — The Brunswick U10 All Star Softball team continued its second day of state tournament play on Saturday.
The first game was a tough 12-11 loss to Andy Valley 2. Logan Brown led Brunswick, pitching five strong innings, followed by Morgan Foster who came in to pitch the sixth with three strikeouts.
Brunswick bats began with hits by Kelsey Sullivan, Mia Klimash, Mia Desantis, Ellie Sullivan and Sophia Morin.
In the second game versus Winthrop, Brunswick won 16- 6 in four innings to advance in the tournament.
