As we transition into the future of healthcare for the Brunswick community, I want my family, friends and patients to know that until any further notice all out patient services are remaining at Parkview. Our press releases have failed to mention Cardiopulmonary Services, but these also continue at the Parkview campus. As I have expressed to many of my patients, it remains my honor to sit at your side and look into your heart. It has truly been a privilege for now more than 30 years and it is my desire to continue in this capacity. If you are scheduled for heart monitoring, stress testing or echo imaging, Chris and I are ready to meet your needs, as are Dr. Laffely and Dr. Lawrence. I wish you continued good health and good health care.
Ruth Rice,
Cardiopulmonary Technologist, Echocardiographer at
Parkview

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
