The Tournament is the major fundraising event for the Mid Coast Veterans Council. The Council operates the Mid Coast Veterans Resource Center, which provides resources for veteran services, as well as the opportunity to obtain services from the Veterans Administration and other veteran service organizations in the Mid-coast area. The Resource Center is located at Brunswick Landing.

After the tournament, golfers will be provided lunch, followed by the awards ceremony.

Prizes include a Toyota Prius for a hole-in-one on the fourth hole, and $2,000 for a hole-in-one during the putting contest. The automobile is provided by Lee Toyota of Topsham.

This is a fun and friendly tournament with many more prizes. The fun includes mulligans, skirts and raffles. Prizes include merchandise donated by area businesses. In previous MCVC tournaments, nearly everyone has gone home with a prize.
