BRUNSWICK — The Howard Vandersea Maine Chapter of the National Football Foundation will host its ninth annual “Kick-Off Luncheon” featuring the head coaches of the six football playing colleges in Maine on Aug. 6 at the Ramada Plaza and Conference Center, located at 155 Riverside St. in Portland.
Media and fans will have the opportunity to hear the preseason forecasts from head coaches Mark Harriman ( Bates), JB Wells ( Bowdoin), Jon Michaeles (Colby), Gabby Price ( Husson), Chris McKenney ( Maine Maritime) and Jack Cosgrove (Maine).
All coaches, administrators, alumni, parents, friends of football, players and the public are invited to attend. Media representatives will be guests of the Maine Chapter.
The event will begin at noon, and tickets are $20 each with a deadline of July 29.
