BRUNSWICK — Public Works Director John Foster announced on Monday a list of paving projects encompassing the next two to three weeks.
The town’s paving contractor, Harry C. Crooker and Sons, will begin work on Maquoit Road from the Maine Street and Mere Point Road intersection to the Brunswick High School entrance on Gleed Drive Wednesday, July 22.
Thursday, July 23, paving will begin on Woodside Road from the Arrowhead Drive intersection to a point approximately 540 feet south toward Pleasant Hill Road. At the same time, paving will begin on Woodside Road from Pleasant Hill Road to just north of Feldspar Drive.
Final surfaces for both of these projects will be applied in the next few weeks after all utility covers have been adjusted.
Next week, the contractors are expected to perform leveling and filling along the Old Bath Road from the Bath Road to the U.S. Route 1 overpass, all of Thompson Street and a final paving on River Road by Lisbon and Hacker roads.
Further final paving will also be completed on River Road from Pleasant Street as well as on Harpswell Road between College Street and Garrison Avenue which will also be milled and leveled.
