BRUNSWICK — Raymond A. Chisholm, 90, of Cumberland Street, died on Sunday, July 19, 2015, at Winship Green Nursing Center in Bath.

He was born in Rockland on April 22, 1925, a son of Thomas H. and Gladys (Joyce) Chisholm.

He graduated from Rockland High School and Fordham University in New York. He entered the U. S. Army Air Corps and served in World War II. He went to the University of Ottawa Seminary in Montreal and was ordained in 1954 in Portland by Bishop Daniel J. Feeney. He served as a priest in Bangor, Gardiner and Portland, retiring from the priesthood in 1968. He married Martha Konon in 1968. He was employed by the state of Maine as a rehabilitation psychologist at the Maine Youth Center in Portland retiring in 1992. He and Martha moved to Bath following his retirement in 1992.

He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and a 4th degree Knights of Columbus in Bath.

He was predeceased by his wife, Martha Chisholm, on Oct. 29, 2002, one son, Joseph Konon, one brother, Thomas Chisholm and one sister, Catherine Leadbetter.

He is survived by his daughter, Marcia Turcotte and her husband Robert Sr. of Woolwich, one brother, Donald J. Chisholm of Owls Head, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two great-greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2015, at Daigle Funeral Home, 819 High St., Bath, with a 4th degree Knights of Columbus Service at 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 144 Lincoln St., Bath, with military honors. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, Middle Street, Bath. Burial will be at Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta at a later date.
