BIDDEFORD — Helen L. Caron, 84, of Biddeford, passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. Andre Healthcare in Biddeford.
She was born in Saco on Dec. 8, 1930, a daughter of Joseph and Georgianna (Corriveau) Danis. She was educated at Thornton Academy in Saco.
Helen married her husband Real on July 3, 1948.
She was employed by the F.W. Woolworth department store in Biddeford for several years. She also worked as an addressograph operator for 13 years at the Portsmouth Herald in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
She enjoyed working in her flower garden and being a member of the Biddeford Seniors Fifty Plus Club.
Mrs. Caron was a parishioner of the former Notre Dame de Lourdes Church.
She is preceded in death by: her son, Richard E. Caron, in 2015.
She is survived by: her husband of 67 years, Real Caron; two granddaughters, Melissa and Rebecca; two brothers, Robert Danis of Saco, and Edward Danis of Wells; two sisters, Connie Vadnais of Biddeford, and Loretta Whitehurst of East Waterboro; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at a later date, time to be announced.
