Teddy Roosevelt was an avid birder and naturalist. His life and his trips to Maine will be celebrated at the Seashore Trolley Museum during “Teddy Roosevelt Days” on Aug. 1 and 2, when several programs will help raise funds to repair the rail car Narcissus, which Roosevelt rode in during a visit to Maine. Several organizations have joined in this event that brings in experts on Roosevelt’s life. Visit trolleymuseum.org/events/teddyrooseveltday.
