TRENTON, N.J. — Trenton snapped a 2-2 tie with a run in the sixth inning and took the series opener from the Portland Sea Dogs, 3-2, on Monday night at Arm & Hammer Park. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak for the Dogs.

Danny Oh scored all three runs for Trenton (55-47) and led off the sixth with a walk against losing pitcher Mike Augliera. Oh stole second base and scored on two groundouts for the game-winning run.

Jason Long beat the Sea Dogs for the second straight relief outing, hurling three scoreless on one hit and two strikeouts. Former Red Sox pitcher Andrew Bailey pitched a perfect ninth for his second save.

The Sea Dogs (39-64) took a 1-0 lead in the second on Keury De La Cruz’s two-out RBI single off starter Kyle Haynes. Trenton tied the game off Danny Rosenbaum in the second. Oh led off with a single and scored on a single by Juan Graterol. Rosenbaum worked four-plus innings on 10 hits and two runs. The Thunder took a 2-1 lead in the fourth on a run-scoring single by Eddy Rodriguez, also had the game-winning RBI groundout.

Portland tied the game in the fifth inning on three consecutive two-out hits by Carlos Asuaje, Sam Travis and Tim Roberson.

Mike Miller went 2-for-4 with a stolen base and a run scored.

The Sea Dogs and Trenton Thunder continue their three-game series tonight at Arm & Hammer Park, with a 7 p.m. first pitch. Right-hander Luis Diaz (1-8, 5.44 ERA) takes on righty Danny Burawa (0-0, 2.25).
