The recent videos documenting how Planned Parenthood receives money for fetus tissue that will eventually be used for the development drugs explains why so many politicians are against laws that ban abortion at 20 weeks when research shows that a fetus can feel pain.
The pharmaceutical companies make billions off of research and can afford to pay fair market value for tissue. There is no need for Planned Parenthood to receive taxpayer money; all Planned Parenthood has to do is figure out the true cost of harvesting fetus tissue and pass the cost on to wealthy pharmaceutical company.
If politicians are sincere in having the wealthy pay their fair share, let them start with the pharmaceutical companies.
Let your lawmaker know that you want pharmaceutical companies to pay their own way, and stop funding Planned Parenthood.
