SANFORD — Eula Mae (Wyman) Quint, died peacefully August 2, 2015 at the Newton Center in Sanford, at the age of 101.
She was born May 16, 1914 in North Berwick and attended local schools. Eula was active in numerous organizations including the Rebekah’s, Ladies Auxiliary Patriotic Militia, and OES #76, Sara Orne Jewett Chapter, South Berwick.
Eula loved baking rolls for various organizations and fundraising suppers. She also loved knitting, crocheting and plastic canvas work.
Eula was preceded in death by: her husband, Kenneth; two daughters, Roberta A. Holmes and Elizabeth M. Colbath; and her great-grandson, Mark W. Meattey.
Surviving are: two grandsons, Michael and Dana Colbath, both of Berwick; seven granddaughters, Diana Adams of Sanford, Donna Allen and Janice Colbath, both of Berwick, Vickie Kilton of Newfield, Kim Meattey of Lebanon, Sheri Nguyen of Parsonsfield, and Phyllis Morin of Rochester, New Hampshire; as well as 18 great-grandchildren, 28 great-great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-great-grandchildren.
An hour of visitation will be held on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 1 p.m. followed by a funeral at 2 p.m. at the Johnson Funeral Home, 26 Market St., North Berwick. Interment in Hillside Cemetery in North Berwick. Arrangements are entrusted to the Johnson Funeral Home in North Berwick. Condolences may be made at www.johnsonfuneralhomeme.com.
