BATH — Rep. Jennifer DeChant, D-Bath, will hold public office hours from noon to 2 p.m. Aug. 22 at the Bath Skateboard Park at 4 Old Brunswick Road.
“I look forward to talking with my constituents about their concerns and answering any questions they may have,” DeChant said. “If you have any ideas for a bill for next session, or if there is anything that I can do for you, please stop by. I’d be glad to see you.”
Office hours are intended to give residents the opportunity to conveniently voice their opinions and concerns directly to DeChant. DeChant is serving her second term in the Maine Legislature and represents the city of Bath. She serves on the Legislature’s Energy, Utilities and Technology Committee.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
