I read with interest Rep. McCabe’s letter on Rep. Tepler’s work in the last session of the Legislature. One of the things that he forgot to mention was her vote, like the rest of the Democrats, against welfare reform. Democrats believe that it is OK for folks on welfare to use their taxpayer-funded EBT cards to buy cigarettes, booze and lottery tickets.

People on welfare make up the largest voting bloc that the Democrats have and the Democrats are going to do nothing to upset that bloc, no matter what the cost to the taxpayer is.
