BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Police Department, Cumberland County Sheriff ’s Office and Bath Police Department have announced multi-jourisdictional sobriety checkpoints. According to a release from the Brunswick Police Department Tuesday, the three agencies will be combining their resources to conduct the checks between Aug. 18-Aug. 23. The move is part of an ongoing campaign sponsored by the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety and National Highway Safety Administration to combat impaired driving.
