Chris Bostick blasted the first pitch he saw from Portland reliever Heri Quevedo to left-center field for a three-run homer in the fifth inning Friday night, and the Harrisburg Senators pulled away for an 11-6 win over the Portland Sea Dogs.

Sea Dogs starter Luis Diaz (1-10) left with one out in the fifth inning after giving up an RBI double to Shawn Pleffner that broke a 3-3 tie. Bostick then greeted Quevedo with his fifth home run of the season.

Diaz got off to a rough start, allowing three runs in the first inning. He walked the first two batters, Denard Span and Dan Uggla, who are on a rehab assignment from the Washington Nationals. Both scored when Wilmer Difo lined a triple to the gap in left-center, and Brian Goodwin drove Difo home with a single to right.

Portland answered with a pair of runs in the third. Sam Travis started the rally with a two-out single, Tim Roberson reached on an error by Pleffner at first base, and Carlos Asuaje hammered a triple to right field, cutting the deficit to 3-2.

Aneury Tavarez tied the game an inning later with his fifth home run of the season.

After falling behind 7-3, the Sea Dogs got two runs back in the sixth on a double by Jordan Weems. But Quevedo allowed two runs in the bottom half and two more in the seventh.

Oscar Tejeda hit a solo homer in the eighth for the Sea Dogs.
