
He was born June 23, 1927 in Biddeford, a son of Walter and Marianne (Binette) LeBrun and was educated locally at St. Joseph’s School.
Mr. LeBrun served with the U.S. Army during World War II.
On Sept. 10, 1949, he married Gabrielle Cyr at St. Andre’s Church.
Over his working life, Mr. LeBrun had been employed at the Delorge Bakery, Saco/Lowell Co. and Saco Tanning. He was last employed at George Neuman Co., retiring in 1989.
Mr. LeBrun was a former member of the AMVETS, Post 1 in Biddeford.
He is preceded in death by: two brothers, Joseph Paul, and Gerard Lebrun; and three sisters, Jeanne Cote, Marguerite LaBrecque, and Adrienne Dodge.
He is survived by: his wife of nearly 66 years, Gabrielle LeBrun of Biddeford; two sons, Raymond LeBrun and his partner Sherri Harris of Biddeford, and Roland LeBrun and his wife Terry of Old Orchard Beach; two grandchildren, Tina Traigle, and Melissa White; three great-grandchildren, Gryphon, Alexander, and Phoenix; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 11 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, Sept. 2 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will follow at noon at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford.
