SOUTH PORTLAND – Starting on Friday, Sept. 4, Kevin Fitzpatrick of Scarborough will once again live on the roof at Jimmy the Greek’s in South Portland until he reaches his fundraising goal of $20,000 to help support STRIVE, which serves youth and adults with developmental disabilities.

This marks the third year in a row that Fitzpatrick has ascended to the roof at the popular pizzaria to raise money for STRIVE. Fitzpatrick will remain on the roof until he reaches his goal of $20,000 or gets 500 people to register for STRIVE’s 5K run and walk on Saturday, Sept. 12.

Last year Fiztpatrick raised more than $15,000 and this time around organizers expect him to be on the roof at least through Wednesday, Sept. 9.

Show your support and help Kevin get down by going online to www.helpkevinhelpstriveorg. The website will also feature a live stream of the roof, via the “Kevin Cam.” Make donations in person at Jimmy the Greek’s or online.

In addition, Cabela’s has provided a $500 gift card, which will be raffled off, along with Kevin’s campsite gear, which has a value of more than $600. Other raffle items include premium Red Sox tickets.
