FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — The New England Patriots cut veteran wide receiver Reggie Wayne and 10 others Saturday on the final day to get NFL rosters to the 53-player limit.

Wayne, a 14-year-veteran who played his entire career with Indianapolis, was signed in late August.

The club also cut running back Jonas Gray, who had 201 yards in a victory at Indianapolis last November.

Also cut were five veterans: tight end Asante Cleveland, linebacker Darius Fleming, cornerback Robert McClain, defensive lineman Zach Moore and wide receiver Jalen Saunders

New England also released defensive backs Daxton Swanson, Justin Coleman and Brandon King, and linebacker Xzavier Dickson.
