
Pat was born on Oct. 2, 1929, in Biddeford, the daughter of Perley and Euphemia Murphy Ladd.
Pat attended Saco schools, graduating in 1948 from Thornton Academy. She was a member of the TA Alumni Association, serving on the reunion committee as the class treasurer. Pat worked as the savings manager at Saco and Biddeford Savings, retiring after 28 years of service. Pat enjoyed spending time with family and going out to lunch with her classmates.
Pat is preceded in death by: her husband, Maurice; sons, Robert and Thomas; brothers, Paul and Richard; and a granddaughter, Ashley.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law, Cynthia Ouellette of Saco; her brother, Alan Ladd and his wife Kathy of Gilroy, California; sister-in-law, Joan Ladd of Denver, Colorado; and two granddaughters, Lindsey and Abigail.
Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 8 at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Dennett, Craig and Pate Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Donations may be made in Pat’s honor to the Thornton Academy Headmaster’s Table, 438 Main St., Saco, ME 04072.
