SOUTH BERWICK — Dalton Moore scored a pair of firsthalf goals as visiting Thornton Academy pulled away from Marshwood in a 4-0 SMAA boys soccer victory Thursday.
Moore opened the scoring, then sandwiched his second goal around a Cam Twombley conversion as the Trojans (2-0-1) went up 3-0 at the half.
Chase Pierce scored from Moore to complete the scoring.
Andrew Coleman made four saves in net for Thornton.
The defeat was the first of the season for the Hawks (2-1).
