BATH — Clarence “Bud” A. Warner Jr., age 92, of Whiskeag Road and formerly of the Old Bath Road in Brunswick, died on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015, at the Hill House Assisted Living.

He was born in Bath on Dec. 27, 1922, the son of Clarence and Ruth Lewis Warner Sr. He attended Bath schools and was a 1941 graduate of Morse High School. During WW II, Clarence served in the Navy in the Pacific returning to BIW as an electrical outside machinist.

On June 22, 1945, he married Leola Dupoint. She died on Dec. 28, 1995.

Clarence continued working at BIW becoming a leadsman, retiring in 1982.

Clarence enjoyed playing guitar at local nursing homes. He enjoyed traveling, birdwatching, high school basketball, the New England Patriots and was an avid Boston Celtics fan. He had also enjoyed his cat “Mr. Kitty” and watching the soap opera “As the World Turns.”

Surviving is his companion of 16 years Peggy Lavoie of Lewiston. Three grandchildren Allan Warner Jr. of Pembroke, NH; Ronald Warner of West Bath and Holly Warner of Brunswick. Four great-grandchildren Daniel, Katherine, Chelsey and Forest, and three great-greatgrandchildren Noah, Isaiah and Isaac.

In addition to his wife, he was also predeceased by a son Allan W. Warner Sr. and a brother Arthur D. Warner.

At Clarence’s request, funeral services will be private. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Brunswick. Arrangements are by Stetson’s Funeral Home, 12 Federal St., Brunswick, where memorial condolences may be expressed at stetsonsfuneralhome.com.
