BIDDEFORD — Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Nolette celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 26 at the Ramada in Saco with a renewal of their marriage vows, officiated by Notary Public Debbie Lizotte.

The couple was married on June 26, 1965 at St. Andre Church in Biddeford.

They are the parents of: sons, Patrick Nolette and Terry Kirkwood of New Durham, New Hampshire, and Paul Nolette and Lorikay Stone from Atlanta, Georgia.

They are the grandparents of: seven grandchildren, Parker Nolette of Atlanta, Georgia, Bryannah Nolette, Shawn Nolette, Travis Nolette, Natalie Nolette, Rachel Nolette and Nathanial Guimond.

Ninety-five friends and relatives attended the anniversary party, including guests both local and from as far away as Georgia and Canada.

A slide show presentation of the couple’s 50 years together, put together by Dennis Sargent and the couple’s granddaughter Bryannah Nolette, was shown and entertainment was provided by Rhonda Junkins and Peggy Pyle.
