The New England Patriots acquired wide receiver KeShawn Martin in a trade with the Houston Texans, according to multiple media reports.
Martin was used primarily as a returner with Houston, with 86 punt returns in three seasons for 766 yards and a touchdown. He also returned 68 kicks for 1,707 yards and caught 38 passes for 416 yards with three TDs.
Martin was active but did not play for the Texans in last weekend’s season opener, a 27-20 loss to Kansas City.
