CANDIA, NH — Warren Andrew Kenney, age 81, passed away at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center on Sept. 14, 2015, after a period of declining heath. He was born in Gardiner, ME, on Sept. 27, 1933, the son of the late Clifton and Hazel (Seddon) Kenney.

Warren proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force for 21 years, nine years were served in Germany. Warren worked hard at everything he did. His favorite pastime was cutting wood. However he also enjoyed antiques, flea markets and landscaping. Warren was a longtime member of the Candia’s First Baptist Church and a devoted husband first to Johanna Kenney and later to Alice Kenney.

Warren is predeceased by his loving wife of 22 years Alice (Maloney) Kenney in 2014, his first wife Johanna Kenney, his siblings Russell, Roxanne and Elwyn Kenney.

Warren is survived by his daughter Christine (Kenney) Walker and husband James of Hooksett, NH; three stepsons, Kevin, Keith and Jeff McDonald of Candia; six siblings, Ronald Kenney and Marjorie (Kenney) Perry, both of Litchfield, ME, Howard Kenney of Woolwich, ME, Frederick Kenney of Harpswell, ME, Gerald Kenney of Gardiner, ME, and Jean Daly of North Port, FL; two grandchildren Jason J. and Jesse W. Walker; two great-grandchildren Mia Joy Walker and Mason James Walker, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Maiden Petrin Funeral Home, 45 High St., Candia, NH, on Sunday, Sept. 20 from 3 to 7 p.m. A funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Candia. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans DAV, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250-0301.
