WELLS — Visiting Fryeburg Academy scored with eight minutes left and converted the two-point conversion in a 28-26 victory over Wells in a Class C South football game Friday night.
The back-and-forth game featured a 14-6 halftime lead for the Raiders (1-2).
Wells’ first-half score came on a touchdown pass from Owen Berry to Deandre Woods.
Keegan Reidy, Reid Chase and Sam Hazlett all had second-half touchdown runs for the Warriors (2-1), who had leads of 20-14 and 26-20 after halftime.
