BIDDEFORD — The Biddeford girls soccer team celebrated Homecoming with a 1-0 win over Westbrook on Saturday morning.
Missy Huot score the game’s only goal with three minutes left in the game. Peyton Janelle provided the game-winning assist.
Biddeford’s Anna Marie Seiler made 12 stops in goal, while Westbrook goalie Nyagoa Bayak finished with 10 saves.
The Tigers, who improved to 4-9 with the win, will close out the regular season on Tuesday when they host rival Thornton Academy.Thegameissetfora6p.m.start.
Gra y-New Glo ucester 5, OOB 1
Payje Leclerc scored for OOB, but it wasn’t enough to beat Gray-New Gloucester on Saturday.
Jaley Martin scored two goals for Gray-NG, which also got scores from Keeley Arnold, Emily Dawkins and Laurel Thomas.
Tiffany LeClair made eight stops in net for the Seagulls.
Scarboro ugh 3, Massabesic 1
Emma Cost scored a second-half goal for Massabesic in a 3-1 loss to visiting Scarborough.
