
She was born in Van Buren on April 3, 1925, and was one of four daughters of the late John and Eva Lutzuk.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William B. Dinwiddie Jr.
From the late 1940s through early 1970, she lived in various cities in Maine, Maryland and Virginia, where her husband, Bill, was stationed as an investigator for the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service. During this time she became a beautician and eventually opened her own beauty salon upon their move to Old Orchard Beach in 1970.
The family expresses special thanks to Falmouth by the Sea for their professional care and concern during the years Polly was in their facility.
Visitation will be noon to 1 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27 at the Old Orchard Beach Funeral Home, 36 Portland Ave., Old Orchard Beach.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 28 in St. Margaret’s Church, at the corner of Saco Avenue and Old Orchard Street in Old Orchard Beach. Burial will be with her husband at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco.
