DALLAS — Deron Williams scored a season-high 23 points, Dirk Nowitzki had 19 and the Dallas Mavericks beat the Utah Jazz 102-93 on Friday night for their sixth straight victory.

Zaza Pachulia had his seventh double-double of the season as Dallas held on after its 20-point second-half lead was trimmed to five in the closing minutes. The Mavericks led 92-87 when Williams hit his fourth 3-pointer of the game. He then grabbed a defensive rebound and assisted on a jumper by Nowitzki.

Williams, who played his first 5 1/2 NBA seasons with the Jazz, also had eight assists and a season-high six rebounds.

Nowitzki was 8 of 12 from the field and made all three of his 3-point attempts.

HORNETS 113, 76ERS 88: Al Jefferson had 26 points and 10 rebounds, and Charlotte put five players in double figures at home.

The Sixers dropped to 0-13 and haven’t won since March 27.

PISTONS 96, TIMBERWOLVES 86: Andre Drummond had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lift Detroit at Minneapolis.

Marcus Morris had 16 points and 11 rebounds, and the scuffling Pistons grinded out a victory after losing four of their previous five games. Reggie Jackson scored 18 points, including two tough drives to the hoop in the final three minutes to hold off a late charge from Minnesota.

PELICANS 104, SPURS 90: Anthony Davis had 20 points and 18 rebounds in his return from a sore shoulder, and New Orleans won at home.

Ryan Anderson hit six 3-pointers and scored 30 points for the second straight game. Ish Smith had 17 points and 13 assists for New Orleans (2-11), which snapped a five-game skid.

GRIZZLIES 96, ROCKETS 84: Mike Conley scored 26 points, and Marc Gasol had 16 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists for Memphis at home.

KNICKS 93, THUNDER 90: Carmelo Anthony scored 25 points at Oklahoma City to help New York to its third straight win.

WIZARDS: Forward Martell Webster is expected to miss the entire season after having surgery on his right hip.

CAVALIERS: Starting center Timofey Mozgov could miss two weeks with a strained shoulder.
