
She was born Jan. 7, 1929, in Waterville, a daughter of Mathias and Marie C. (Rodrigue) Rodrigue and was educated in Biddeford schools.
On June 8, 1946, she married Raymond A. Pepin at St. Mary’s Church in Biddeford.
She had worked at local department stores M.H. Fishman, J.J. Newbury, and F.W. Woolworth, and had been employed with West Point Pepperell for 37 years, retiring in 1986.
A member of St. Joseph Church, she enjoyed going to local beaches, reading, and traveling.
Lorraine was preceded in death by: her husband, Raymond; her daughter, Diane (Pepin) Landry; and also by two sisters and a brother.
She is survived by: two sons, Donald Pepin, his wife, Debra, and her son, Michael Sharpe, of Biddeford, and Carl Pepin, his wife, Holly, and grandchildren Josh and Hannah of Kennebunk; son-in-law, Richard Landry, and grandchildren, John (Michele) Landry of Biddeford, and Carl (Laura) Landry of Cornish; greatgrandchildren, Alyssa, Jake, Brooke and Bridget; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 4-7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 30 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, ME 04005. A funeral service will take place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Biddeford. If so desired, donations in memory of Lorraine may be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice, 11 Hunnewell Road, Scarborough, ME 04074.
