
She was born in Biddeford on Sept. 5, 1942, a daughter of Roland and Simonne (Girouard) Gauthier. She graduated from St. Andre’s High School, class of 1960. In high school she was head majorette in the marching band.
Carmen was employed in sales for many years. Later, she drove a taxi for Twin City Taxi in Biddeford.
Carmen built her own house, which was completed in 1964. She enjoyed gardening, taking in animals and spending time at Hills Beach. She also liked to sing and astrology.
She was preceded in death by: two sons, Carl and Kevin Bosse.
She is survived by: two sons, Christopher Blais, and Mark Blais, both of Biddeford; one daughter, Karen Plourde of Florida; two sisters, Patricia Auger, and Constance Comeau; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 9-11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 2 at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco, with a funeral service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
