SACO — Leo Simanonok, 85, of the Old Orchard Road in Saco passed away Monday, Dec. 1, 2015, at the Southern Maine Health Center in Biddeford.

He was born in Saco, April 30, 1930, the son of Anthony and Antoinette Arguin Simanonok.

Leo attended local schools and later graduated from Thornton Academy. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.

After his service, he was employed by the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard until his retirement and earned many awards for tool design.

He is preceded in death by: his wife, Marie Simanonok; and two brothers, Edward and Paul Simanonok.

Leo is survived by: a step-daughter, Donna Snow of Saco; stepson, David Milliken of Vermont; his grandson Chad Snow and wife Kelly, granddaughter, Amy Snow Tousignant and husband Jon, all of Saco; his greatgrandson, Jaxon Snow, of Saco; a sister, Rita Gagnon of Lebanon; and several nieces and nephews.

A service will be held in the spring at Seaview Cemetery in Rockport.

Dennett, Craig & Pate funeral and Cremation, 365 Main St., Saco, are in charge of the arrangements.
