From the Journal Tribune: “Four sex offenders were recently identified by police as potential threats to people living in Saco neighborhoods. The men are considered by police to have the potential to conceivably strike again due to their past history and their failure to register as sex offenders.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Five-year-old Richard Basilesco, 104 Main St., Biddeford, each morning mails a piece of his previous day’s school work to his father, Staff Sgt. Joseph R. Basilesco, who is serving with the U.S. Air Force in Viet Nam. The subprimary student at Wentworth School has been following this routine since school started in September.”

From the Biddeford Daily Journal: “Germans have been blamed for lots of things in Biddeford but it was nothing more than guess work. On Thursday afternoon, however, a complaint was received at the police station that a German had threatened to throw his wife off the Main street bridge.”
