FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was listed on the team’s injury report Friday with an illness that made him questionable Sunday against the Tennessee Titans.

Brady did not practice with the team, according to the injury report.

Since he took over when Drew Bledsoe was injured in Week 2 of the 2001 season, Brady has played in every game of every season except for 2008, when he was injured in the first quarter of the opener and missed the rest of the season.

Backup Jimmy Garoppolo has appeared in four games this season and has not thrown a pass this year.

The injury report also said linebackers Eric Martin (concussion) and Jonathan Freeny (hand) would miss Sunday’s game.

Receiver Julian Edelman is doubtful, meaning he is likely to miss his fifth straight game since breaking his foot.

COWBOYS: Linebacker Rolando McClain has been ruled out against the New York Jets on Saturday night because of a concussion, and cornerback Morris Claiborne is doubtful with a hamstring injury.

McClain didn’t practice all week after reporting concussion symptoms following last weekend’s loss to Green Bay. It will be the first game he has missed since starting the season on a four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s substance abuse policy.

FALCONS: Atlanta placed center James Stone on injured reserve with a knee injury.

Stone was injured in practice this week and had already been declared out for the Falcons’ game Sunday at Jacksonville. He played in seven games this season with one start. Now he’s done for the year.

BRONCOS: Peyton Manning’s left foot was sore Friday so he didn’t practice after running Denver’s scout team for two days.

Manning’s foot has bothered him for months and he’s been sidelined since mid-November with a torn plantar fascia that required a cast or boot for 10 days.

VIKINGS: Minnesota ruled linebacker Anthony Barr and safety Harrison Smith out for the second straight game because of injuries.

Barr (groin/hand) and Smith (knee/hamstring) were hurt in the first quarter on Dec. 6 against Seattle. The Vikings also declared wide receiver Charles Johnson (ankle) and defensive end Scott Crichton (concussion/neck) out for their game Sunday against Chicago.

TITANS: Tennessee will be without a pair of starters with both wide receiver Kendall Wright and safety Da’Norris Searcy out Sunday against the New England Patriots.

Wright will miss his second straight game with a rib injury, making that five of the past seven games for the Titans (3-10).

BILLS: Defensive end Mario Williams is expected to play against Washington after returning to practice.

Williams missed Buffalo’s previous two days of practice because of an illness. He was listed as questionable, but Coach Rex Ryan said Williams should be ready to play Sunday.

JETS: New York placed rookie wide receiver Devin Smith on season-ending injured reserve with a torn knee ligament.

The team also promoted linebacker Taiwan Jones from the practice squad Friday to take Smith’s spot on the roster.
