Janice was born April 3, 1939, in Biddeford, the daughter of Harvey and Nellie (Stimpson) Sippel. She graduated from Kennebunk High School and began working at Kesslen Shoe. Janice also worked at Shape and did some in home day care for children. She was happiest when she started working for the Child Development Center in Wells. During her years at Kesslen Shoe, she met Armand Dussault. They were married on November 2, 1963, and have celebrated 52 years together.
Janice’s world was all about family. She loved time spent with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She never missed her grandchildren’s athletic and scholastic events and was often the first fan in the stands to greet the team bus as it pulled in with the athletes for traveling events. She took pictures of everyone at the events and would share them with their families. She was the greatest unofficial cheerleader. She loved to shop for her grandchildren and her great-grandchildren. One of her greatest joys was having the opportunity to care for her great-grandson, Landon. Janice was also a member of the Kennebunk Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed gardening and many years of camping with great friends and family.
She is lovingly remembered and will be dearly missed by: her husband, Armand Dussault; her daughters, Robin Tinkham and her husband Lawrence of Waterboro, and Tracy Dussault and her wife Stacey of Biddeford and her son Eric Kimball of Indiana; her five grandchildren, Michael Tinkham and his wife Brittany, Christopher Tinkham, Kyleigh Keitel, Autumn Linteau, and Eric Kimball Jr.; and her two great-grandchildren, Landon Tinkham and Lucas Tinkham.
