TOPSHAM — The 22nd annual Pro Baseball Experience Winter Academies is scheduled to be held at Mt. Ararat High School beginning on Sunday.
The 10-weekly sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and is for players 8-years-old to high school seniors.
Players will be divided into equal groups by age or talent level. Each player will receive training in hitting, pitching, infield, outfield and base running, in addition to arm care and the prevention of arm injury.
All coaches will be under the direction of former Boston Red Sox and New York Mets pitcher Dale Plummer.
Two sessions will also be held in Vassalboro inside the Indoor Baseball and Softball Training Center (934 Main Street). One begins on Sunday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., with Thursday sessions beginning Jan. 14 and held from 5-7 p.m. each week.
The cost is $300 for one 10-week session, $450 if participating in two (a Sunday session and the Thursday session). Discounts are available for siblings.
