LINCOLN, N.H. (AP) — New Hampshire ski areas will take part in a national attempt to set the record for most ski and snowboard lessons taught in a day.

Ski areas will conduct lessons in their respective time zones beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 8, to try to set a record for largest multi-venue lesson session.

Participating mountains in New Hampshire are offering special lesson-rental lift ticket deals for beginners.
